Haven't played BF since BF3, got bored of EA bringing out new maps and DLC etc rather than fixing bugs...

If they do a free version in the same sort of vein as Fortnite or WArzone then I might be interested, but I don't play often enough to warrant paying for games these days..

PS: I have never played any of the BF games. As i recall from game #1 they did not have CTF, and that is about the only worth while game mode in my book.

I haven't enjoyed these games since Bad Company 2. Doubt I'll get this one either.

Probably the first MP FPS I'll get since BF4. Hated 1, thought the setting was just ridiculous. Was on the fence about 5 - liked the game but none of my mates did. Been waiting for a return to modern shooters, so deffo looking forward to this.

I used to enjoy playing BF Vietnam (which had an awesome soundtrack, btw) and BF2 with a few friends, but only private LAN games. I could never be @rsed playing on public servers, where I would've had my backside handed to me on a plate by kids who play for 10 hours per day.

Haven't played since BF2 though because, from BF3 onwards, Dice removed bots. It looks like 2042 will have bots though, so I may give it a look if reviews are favourable.
