Just bought a new XPS, doing my bit.
Maybe they should stop ripping us off and make what we want ?
They are up 60% and it's a bad thing?! Sucks to be Intel.
AMD worth 3/4 Intel but making 1B vs. Intel 6.8B Q's. Intel making that while building 2 fabs down the road from me...LOL. Invading GPU on discrete now also, so another TAM open to them now also. Not sure what AMD share holders are smoking here.
4 years of AMD "winning" and Intel just set a NET INCOME record I think...ROFL. Last 4yrs 21B NET. Yep, Intel is just doing terrible. I mean, I'd hate to be making 21B a year for 4yrs while the other guy is beating me supposedly and can't make a SINGLE billion /Q for 2 Q's in a row even with a tax break. Note, I'm not saying AMD isn't heading the right way, just that for 4 years shareholders have ignored the bottom line, but at some point everyone has to wake up to reality. When the dollar crashes for the great reset (they want it so bad they can taste it), I'd rather be in the company pulling down ~7B Q's NET than less than 1B/Q. Intel would be able to get a loan when AMD wouldn't in that time, if Intel even needed one (~22B cash/short term on hand last I check IIRC - surely invested somewhere before worthless - just saying who's ahead now). Intel makes ~2x AMD cash on hand every Q now...LOL. Alder looks like it won't have as much of a problem selling as I thought, so even worse for AMD as the 3nm TSMC is about to show up in another Q for Intel server/mobile chips. That won't help AMD if they're not expecting 3nm in EPYC until 2024/5. OUCH.
AMD blew 4yrs chasing share instead of NET INCOME. Here is the result. Short term gains, long term nothing. Still making console socs...Stupid.
