New easy watercooling from Corsair

Corsair, already familiar in in the watercooling market for their COOL watercooling system, is bringing a new product the market geared up for easy installation and use.

The Nautilus 500 consists of an external unit which sits on top of the computer's case, along with a CPU waterblock and retention brackets. Installation of the waterblock doesn't require the removal of the motherboard, which will appeal to both watercooling newbies and those who just can't be bothered faffing about taking their board out.

Good idea, will appeal to those who lack the expertise to do a full internal install, but it is a shame that they haven't thought to extend it to cover the graphics cards as well.

I've used both the Hydrocool EX200 and the COOL systems in the past to cool PC's. The Hydrocool EX200 was fantastic at keeping my unlocked 2500+ under 42 degrees when clocking the hell out of it and it's now on a friends PC giving ultra quiet cooling in his bedroom.

It seems they are also getting easier to install.

Hydrocool was a bit fiddly with the COOL system a little easier. This looks like its going to be as easy as fitting a CPU cooler

but it is a shame that they haven't thought to extend it to cover the graphics cards as well.

This is more than likely going to be available as the blocks for the COOL system are available for GPU's and Chipsets and have been available for quite a while now.

Looks very good, and it's also relatively cosmetically appealing, which has to help.

Theyve missed a trick by not making it fit in a psu bay. Also, assuming its gonna be a bit more expensive than COOL, say about 150 quid, its quite easy to put together a system for that price that will require no fans to cool an athlon 64 sufficiently (for reference my water cooling will keep my cpu at 35 load with no fans, and thats running rthdribl to stress the gpu too.)
