Fatal1ty on the case...and copies his games

Ok, sorry to get your hopes up but it doesn’t mean Jonathan ‘Fatal1ty’ Wendel has taken is pirating… no, the world’s greatest single player FPS gamer has now put his name to a CD imaging program as well as a new Zalman case as these shots show…

Aside from the dodgy naming and Fatl1ty branding (does that actually aid sales? :s) I like the idea of this "game drive pro" software. As long as it isn't extortionate, i'd certainly consider getting it.

Wonder how long it'll be before the game writers change the anti piracy stuff so that it doesnt work?

I didn't think he was that good - I do think he deserves all the money he's getting though, the crap he has to put up with from sponsors etc. I think he needs a bit more of a personality to flog his gear mind!
He seems to be putting "his name" to pretty much anything now though, none of the Fatal1ty products have actually been great yet have they?

Gamedrive pro really needs support of publishers to do well, otherwise as Trig said, copy protection will advance beyond this software leaving it worthless

I'd love to see Daigo play this kid on Street Fighter II and spend a few hours kicking him all over the screen, away from his staged managed FPS displays.

    Watch that. Its soooo good.

Yeah seen that a few times.
But to get that good at any game you have to LIVE it, same goes for FPS's - not for me

Also don't see how you're comparing FPS gaming to street fighter, it's like saying Tiger Woods would get his ass kicked by Michael Jordan at basketball

Just making the point that Fat may be the most well known gamer, but thats not to say he's some sort of gaming God. He is good at what he does and well known; but there are plenty of gamers out there who are as good or better at what they do.

Lets put it this way - have you seen Fat do anything that looks as impressive or would take as long to master as what Daigo did in that vid?

Get the feeling that its assumed Fat is the all pwning gaming God who beats down anyone at everything. Lets see him winning tournaments and beating the worlds best players in a few other types of games. He's a pro gamer, he has the time and the ability to do so.

Would be very interesting to see if his obvious talent could shine through away from whatever FPS he's doing people in on at the moment.

That's 1337. It's one of the few things I've ever seen that actually deserve the title, too.

Seriously, I've played that game a million times, and to parry every hit of a Chun Li super, the way he did, jump in the air, parry the last hit, then go straight into a combo and finish it with his own super, against a pro player, is unbelivable.

It is indeed l33t, as you say.

    It's honestly called "GameDr1ve"?

    What a step backwards.
