    Woo! at least the pricing of retro games isn't too bad - but won't people just download them as roms from the net and put them on a memory card (since Wii has an SD slot does it not?).

    Im sure they will try and find a way around this, then again the people that haxxors will also find a way around that hehe

    apparently that's the price for new games via WiiConnect24, not retro games

    "Yesterday Satoru Iwata also revealed the pricing for Wii's downloadable retro games. Games will range from between $4.50 and $8.99 in the U.S and 500 to 1,000 yen in Japan."

    Surely that implies retro games, i can't imagine Ninty pricing new games that cheaply?

    Iwata made the announcement in japanese. most games news sites followed the same mistransaltion

    so the release date will be revieled in september. Damn i heard that it was coming out around then....

    it may be a short wait. the official release date for the gamecube was made shortly before the actual release - after EA let slip, by announcing the release dates for its launch-day titles
