Seems like a good idea, from what I know about cores etc(no expert I'll admit), it seems well suited due to the massive parralelism in GPU cores. Not much good for us nvidia boys though

Erm that does mean 20 to 40 times faster than a CPU? It almost seems like people have been wasting time and electricity up to now...20-40x
A review I read seemed to suggest that although overpriced, the "killerNIC" reduced pings by a fair bit. Dunno about how much processing power it has though...That bag of crud won't process a work unit this side of 2010.Quote:

On topic, I can't wait to see the potential that this unlocks... seems like a good reason for keeping my X1900XTX when I get the R600 or R620/80.
