Halo 3 fever gathering pace

Halo 3 is available for pre-order. Final details of the game haven't been confirmed, but some scans from a Japanese magazine have been leaked that offers clues as to what we can expect.

They probably need a date to list the game on their system in order to take preorders, so an arbitrary date is assigned (which in turn generates the 148 days til release countdown)

Hope it is as good as the previous ones. One of the few(if there are any others) FPS on a console that are as good as the best PC FPS.

Oooooohhhh! Pwetty! I hope it's a as good as the first one. The second one was a disappointment. If Gears of War is as good as they say then it's got some competition...

I think any game, even Gears of War, is going to find it hard to get close to the superb maps, smooth online play and great lobbies and options that Halo 2 has.

They're both different games, I've played Gears of War and it's superb, in a totally different league than most Xbox 360 games, but I'm still more excited about Halo 3 because I think Bungie will deliver the whole package.

Prediction : Gears of War will be the best Xbox 360 game ever, until Halo 3 arrives.
