    Shuttle ST61G4 XPC

Sheer performance isn't great with a discrete AGP card. However, the combination of the factors listed above raise it from being a poor system to one that has merit. This could have been the killer S478 SFF platform. As it is, and at the risk or repetition, it's good in certain areas and weak in others. It's worth a look if its talents match your requirements exactly. We'd probably opt for a SFF system without integrated graphics and add a cheap discrete card instead.

    3 Years ago yeh.

What i mean is - all they do now is churn out a slightly differnt coloured / designed box with a slightly different motherboard in it. How are they going to continue innovating when they got it so right the first time?

Gotta agree there, there are lots of other companys jumping on the SFF bandwagon with much more inovative systems, look at the MSI and Abit systems for example.
Still I do like Shuttles though I would never use a SFF system as a main rig, Im not a fan of hot running boxes with little upgrade capabilitys
The G4 Chassis is pretty ugly as well IMO.

Yep. I ran a 9800SE AIW for a short while. The newer PSUs are one area that Shuttle has improved in.
