Is this why some ram prices have started to drop fast, or is it just a coincidence?
I had also just noticed that RAM had dropped in price, as I am after some DDR [1] to try to load up the boxes I have that use it with good fast stuff, (while there is any left) and was shocked to see the price had dropped thru the floor since I got some for a new build a few months ago.
Lets hope that its the sign of things to come.

Well, it allegedely took place between 1999 and 2002 according to the article. So I shouldn't think it would affect present prices.
Although you never know, they might still be at it.
