    Vodafone (No Service)

    Hi all just wondering if anyone else is having issues with Vodafone this evening? my mother on PAYG receives no signal and myself on contract also receives no signal. Im in the midlands area near Coventry if that has anything to do with it.

    I periodically get that issue, seems Vodafone have 2 towers near by (or more for that fact) and my K800i has got confused before. Either taking the battery out or setting which one to use usually sorts it

    if your not getting a good signal on contract you can take it back, not 100% on the time though, but the network provider is not providing you a service, maybe that area you are in is in a blackspot and does not get reception or very well, maybe a bit extreme but just a thought.

    the signal is ok now, I think Vodafone were having issues with the local transmitter, as Im still struggling to make outgoing calls occasionally

    I get all the Vodafone TSC announcements via email and I didn't see anything for that area last night/this morning

    Oh right, I remember calling them at the time and it said something about "We are aware of some of you experiencing difficulties at the moment2 or something like that. :s was for about an hour.
