    i-mate jam

Just bought a used i-mate jam and like it except for the fact that it keeps powering itself on (the ppc side) making battery last less.

    is this normal?
i've checked everything i can and also done a full re-boot.
when i turn phone off, it is fine.

    thanks

Have you got it set to check for emails at a certain time? Anything like that will cause the whole thing to flick on

It seems it was a bad contact somewhere. I removed battery, cleaned contacts with my finger and it has been behaving since.
Now it does stay off, not just wasting my battery charge.

    Fingers crossed

    Thanks for your help.
