Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
Hey guys,
I received mine in the post today, it's awesome!
First impressions are that it is well made, solid construction and built to last. I can see already that I will get many years of use from this device.
I'll let you all know and keep you updated on how it goes.

Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
It's just so expensive :( *wants*

Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
It's... a lot of money isn't it? It's almost the perfect phone for me - i actually would like a keypad on the front as well (like the cancelled 730). I'm not sure i'm willing to part with such a large amount of money when in a few months they'll be far more reasonable.

 me thinks I've decided on my christmas present
Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
Hmmm probably circa 300 by then? That's more reasonable. I'm planning on staying off contract tbh.
Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
Although it is an expensive device I try to think of it as not a phone. What I mean is there are multiple devices rolled into one neat package i.e GPS Device, PDA, mp3/video player, Camera and of course a phone. You're only really lmited by the storage capacity of the memory card.
Buying a decent model of each of these devices by them selves would amount to far more than the price the Kaiser is now. Admittedly with the camera you can get a better one but most for most people the camera on the Kaiser will be adequate for simple point and shoot photography. So when I think of it like that, it doesn't seem quite so expensive, but still £470 is £470 :).
Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
Thats my thinking as well. Assume £150 for a TomTom and it really starts to look reasonable :)
Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
I don't disagree - there's a lot there - but i've already got a QTek S10 and a GPS module so..
But, anyway, it's still a heck of a lot better VFM than an iPhone!

Re: When's the HTC Kaiser in the UK on contract?
Expansys can be a little on the pricey side, especially when phones are on pre-order. But i guess they are a good benchmark.
