Replacement keypad board for a SLVR L7?

My wife's Motorola SLVR L7 has become unusable in the last week. Seems the menu button keeps sticking. I've had it apart & cleaned it, but it's not helped. I figure the microswitch on the keypad pcb is shot.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement from? Failing that, of anywhere selling damaged phones that I could rip the board out of?

It'd be a real shame to have to ditch the phone, but as they can be picked up second hand for 40-60ukp there doesn't seem a good reason to spend much over a tenner on fixing it.

Just to be clear, the part I need isn't the rubber keypad but the pcb that lies directly under it inside the phone.

    Here's hoping

Try contacting Motorola direct to see if they can help. Other than that have a look about ebay and online retailers. If not and it if it is still under warranty (12 months is given from purchase date), send it off for repair from the network dealer.

You tried ebay, if there is no keyboard, you might get a dead phone for parts.

It's about 24 months old, so not under warranty anymore. A local store has quoted 15ukp for a repair, which I might end up going with, if I can't find the part anywhere - at least it tells me the part is probably 10ukp or under, if one can find it.

Tried ebay & a dead phone did recently sell for around 8ukp, however the fault was unknown so could have been keyboard related; in any case I missed the end of the auction.
