    Talker Plan?

    Hey Everyone,

I am after a little bit of advice, i am currently with Orange on £35 a month 1000 texts and 200 voice mins, i have hit a problem the 200 voice mins aint enough and i am getting stung at the end of every month with a massive bill, i am now looking for a second contract with either unlimited landline calls or a reasonable amount of voice mins.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Also free offpeak calls to a selected number could be good.

    Cheers
    Rich

    Re: Talker Plan?

o2 usually have really good offpeak mins but i am not sure about unlimited. You could check out 3 network too, they always give really huge amount of mins for the same price of the competitor. just call one and say the other is offering more mins and less price. After a few calls i am sure you will get a pretty good deal. check out e2save.com sometimes they have ridiculous deals

    good luck

How long have you been with Orange ?? Reason I ask is if you are nearing the end and want to upgrade and if you have been going over and getting big bills then they generally move heaven and earth to give you what you want

I have been with them about 14 months, coming to the end in Jan, my last bill was 100+ so maybe i should give them a ring and see what they say?

    Re: Talker Plan?

You may need to ignore the first discount they offer you, when sorting out my sister's contract they offered us a crappy deal, so we said no and they passed us through to the transfer request branch who made us a much much better offer.

    Re: Talker Plan?

they always try to keep a good paying customer so just demand as much as you can since you could always say yes to the last deal... why dont you try calling from a bt line with those 0844 numbers like 0.5p per min or even 1p per min. that's like a tenner if you call 1000mins with 1p. check out niftylist.co.uk

CAUTION****dont call those numbers with your mobile****

    Re: Talker Plan?

T-mobile aren't great at matching other networks for offers, which is why I left them for 3 and I'm very happy there. Give them a look, they don't have the biggest range of handsets but they do have good ones and their £15 and £20 talker/texter plans have huge numbers of mins/texts.

And if you do decide to go with 3, get in touch with me first and I'll get you £30 cashback as a Refer A Friend...
