How to change language sets on SE W810i

I have an English branded Sony Erricson W810i phone with English language, but because I am chinese and have so many chinese songs I would like to flash my phone so that instead of showing [][][][][][] for the title it shows the proper name. Anyone know how this is done? So far...

the results in google either show:
* a send away your phone service (sounds dodgy!)
* or a guide to flashing your phone (very difficult to understand guide!)

The 2nd is ideal as I have 3 such phones in the family to do, but if only someone could tell me how to do it in simplier terms....

BTW one of the phones is vodafone branded.

Sounds difficult plus $12 a pop..... any cheaper? to the point of free?

Not that I've found. But I it know works, I've flashed about 4 phones with unbranded firmware using them.

$12 is only about £6.
