My Palm PDA has currently broken (dead battery) and I would very much like to replace both my Palm and current Nokia mobile with a new Smartphone. I know nothing about mobiles and would appreciate your advice.
I currently am with Orange on PAYG and pay approx £50/year in credit. I use the phone every day but mainly to receive calls. My Palm is an old Palm V and sychronizes Outlook 2003 data (except emails).
The features of a phone that I would like include:
- Must be able to store contacts from all 476 people in my Outlook Contacts. Each contact has a name, phone, address and typed info in the Notes section in certain cases (40%)
- Would like it to store Calender information from Outlook
- Would like to to store Tasks from Outlook
- Not fussed about emails but it would be nice to sycnronise Outlook emails if possible. Don't want to pick up emails from the phone.
- A basic camera would be nice but not fussed.
- Cost is not a big issue but I don't want an account based deal (no monthly contract).
