On the cheapest contract the iPhone will cost one pound shy of £900. You get 200 minutes and texts.
On the dearest contract (£55pm) your talking £1260.....for a phone.
Crazy imo.
Eten GloFish x500+ - Nice phone, no 3G though as far as I'm aware, if that matters.
I'd definitely go for an iphone, but why don't you just wait a few weeks, go into an o2 shop and have a go with one. If you still prefer the W960i or don't think the price difference is worth it, fair enough. But it's difficult to judge the merits of a device like an iphone, whose main benefit is great usability, without actually trying it out.
i still have to ask, why would anyone want a smartphone that is application locked, it makes as much sense as a PC that is application locked...
As quoted from: All About Symbian Review: Nokia N95 8GBQuote:
The back of the N95 8GB has been redesigned, with an extra millimetre or so of depth allowing the use of the BL-6F, rated at 1200mAh. This would appear to give 25% extra battery life, but in fact extra optimisations in the OS (and possibly the use of demand paging) mean that the real world increase is closer to 50%. Although this isn't exactly capacious, the use of the BL-6F does mean that very few people will exhaust the N95 8GB's battery in a day, even if they try quite hard.
I don't know about the gps though :)
I like the idea of the iphone and sure it seems very out there with the newest gadgets but I bet it'll be a pile of cack. I couldn't justify spending so much on a mobile! I presume the W960i is a sony ericcson? I'd probably go for that then since the sony ericsson's are pretty decent phones, I'm using a W810i at the moment and I have no complaints. Not very fancy but it does all I need it to do and more.
Vodafone has got the new Nokia Black N95 in now. Virtually the same as irs predecesor but it has 8Gb internal memory and the screen is bigger. You can also download the NGage software onto it and play those games, also it comes with the full Spiderman 3 movie on there.
Hello,
I like the LG U990 but it may be short on features for your requirements.
There's a review here.
Good luck finding the right phone.
