    k850i 1st problem

i got my k850i nearly a couple of weeks ago

(im on a tmobile 18 month contract, flext £25 a month, went to carphone warehouse and they upgraded me through the loyalties division. paid £20 towards phone, even kept my discount which makes it £25 instead of £30 a month)

i dont mind the navigation (you adjust to the small keys), i like the camera, i like the music software and was looking at 4gb m2 cards last night.

i didnt realise it was touch screen til i got it home, to me touch screen is 6 of one half a dozen of the other. however the half a dozen has bit me in the ass. last night my touch screen decided it wasnt touch screen anymore. which means i now own a flashy walkie talkie.

my question is has anyone had this happen? im gonna try and take it back tomorrow and hope they accept its faulty, as i've treated it with uber kid gloves. it would help my cause if i had anymore info. im sure it would of been they're first batch and i've been unlucky.

I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR I LIKE THIS PHONE, I LOVE SONY ERICSSON ( even if they hate my mac book ) THIS IS JUST MOTIVATED BY FACT FINDING.

    thanks for looking
    x

If you've only had for a couple of weeks, then it's less than 28 days old so take it back to where you got it and they should be able to do a straight swap on it for you.

Have you given T-Mobile customer service a call and see what they say ??

Its usually a 14 day refund / return / exchange policy with most places now. At the very least it should get sent away for repair free of charge for you. If you have no luck with Carphone then go directly to a T Mobile store.

    Re: k850i 1st problem

Scurvy...could you answer a question about the K850i. Does it come with headphones and cable to plug into the phone and if so if the cable attached to the headphones meaning you can't use your own headphones or is it separate allowing you to use any headphones?
