    orange upgrade

    right,

i was due an upgrade a coupleof months ago (think i asked then) but i still havent done anything about it.

i'm paying around £35 a month at the mo (with spikes when i go to france on holiday)

what are the best contracts to go for and what phones can i expect them to offer??

is it worthme trying tp squeeze a nokia N95 out of them, or is there better on offer at the mo??

    cheers

    Re: orange upgrade

I was on a similar plan myself, given lots of free minutes and no free texts. I found that i was able to change to their 'racoon' package with a few less free minutes and 100 free texts per month, we'll see if it improves my monthly bill (hopefully shouldnt be more than the standard £25 per month).
They gave me a free S.E. W660i, which although doesnt look like it's going to break any records should function just fine as a phone.

I used to believe that you should have one gadget for one purpose, but then got fed up of having a phone plus an mp3 player plus a PDA plus a camera plus.... in my pockets, so convergence is all well and good, but i still wouldn't be happy to play my mp3 player all day and then find i couldnt make any phone calls until it's re-charged.

    Re: orange upgrade

quite a few years, was on a £50 a month contract last year but moved down as i wasnt using that much.

am now paying £35 a month (i think) on a price match (similar to an o2 contract of the time)

to be honest, if i could be bother i need to argue with them as the contract was supposed to be 12 months, which i repeatedly made sure of, and as i started that contract in may, i think they stuffed meonto an 18 month contract
