    w910

anyone got one of these that they can share their thoughts on? thinking of getting it with my new contract the reviews seem solid and the battery life is exceptional. However has anyone come across any little issues or anything they dont like about it??

I was dead keen on this, but then I handled it and although the screen is nice and big, it felt bigger than I thought it would and I didn't like the silver bars that stick out on the bottom. Without these it would have felt far more compact.

Saying that it's a very nice phone, solid and with normal decent SE battery life. I went for the Nokia 6500 Classic in the end which I'm pleased with.

The screen on them is exceptional. Nice size and the handset is very lightweight. We have the Bronze and black versions instore. Think I prefer the black. Feature wise they have the usual stuff all walkman phones have. Only downside I found is that the camera doesn't have a flash. Walkman side of things it has a shake control to skip tracks and shuffle the playlists. It also has a feature called Senseme, with this the phone can pick out the type of music you want to play by simply moving the cursor to one of the 4 emotions onscreen (happy, sad etc)

In the box you get all the cables and software, it also comes with a 1Gb memory card and a USB dongle for putting the memory card into then straight into a PC USB port for dragging and dropping files.

The first batch of these had a habit of restarting themselves, locking up or shutting down. Thankfully this was literally a minority and they are working great now.

    Re: w910

I'm on my third one, but overall i'm quite happy.

The first one had the re-setting issue that Ferral mentions, and the second one had some glitch where you couldn't move right in any of the menus. My third one seems ok so far.

My main gripe is that the camera doesn't have autofocus nor a flash, and is actually quite poor. The rest of it however, is pretty good and the Walkman 2 software is nice.

Yh i went in store and found it a little bit on the larger side, great screen indeed. However i think im going to hold out until the sony ericsson w890 comes out seems like a much more refined version compared to the w880. much better keypad being the main thing

    Re: w910

My 3rd w910i crashed over the weekend, this time i couldn't get into the text inbox, so can't send or receive messages. And because it's outside of the 14 day thing, I have to send it off for repair rather than get a new one.

I really should have shouted a bit more, I've come to the end of my tether with it and just want a k850 instead.

I have a mate that has one and he loves it. I rate SE phones highly. Only criticism is does seem a little large compared to in pics.
