    Viewty V N95

I have a choice between a Viewty or a N95 Black and am having a hard time choosing. I had my heart set on a viewty, as its quite slim but then i realised I could get either for free and saw that the Nokia has wifi and GPS.

Im a bit wary of the viewty becoming a "common" phone like the k800i, which i got in July on its release and now everybody has one which is a bit disappointing.

I'd go with the N95. So long as you don't mind the bulk then you'll appreciate all the additional features like wifi and GPS as you mention.

I wouldn't worry about a phone becoming "common" though - usually means it's good :-)

    Re: Viewty V N95

My flatmate has an n95 and from what ive seen of it its a very good phone, gotta be careful with the screen though, as it's quite weak. I've seen a lot more n95's around London than Viewty's, not sure if that means its better, but from what ive seen its the more popular choice.

    Re: Viewty V N95

one thing to mention about the N95 is that it eats battery. Now it does depend alot on what features you use, but I like my phones to run for around 5 days on a single charge and my mate has an N95 which he charges every night which I would hate. I have no idea about battery on viewty but its always one of the first things I look for on a phone.

That's a good point - although the new N95s (the 8GB ones) are supposed to be a bit better at somewhere around 2-3 days usage. Depending on how often you care to charge your mobile this may or may not make a difference.

Ive got the 8gb black N95, and battery life for me is roughly 3-5 days dependant on what features I use, just turn down the strength of the wi-fi conection, (its set stupidly high) and then ul be fine

TBH that's never bothered me as long as it lasts all day no matter how much I use it.
If I know i have to charge it up every night I get into a routine of plugging it in before I go to bed and I'm never caught out with an empty phone.
If it lasted 5 days I know at least occasionally I'd forget to plug it in on day 5 so on day 6 I'd be without a phone.

haha well this is what happens to a company that keeps the same design for 5 years.

Motorola Phones Sales Crash 38 Per Cent - TrustedReviews

persoanlly, who cares if a phone is popular or not, the nokia 32 and 3310 were both seen everywhere and they were awesome for the time.

    popular is not necessarily bad.

I did say "usually". Couldn't comment on the Razr, I've never used one.

Only thing I dont like about my N95 is the 2 way slider, I never use the media buttons, and quite frequently when getting it out my pocket it slides the wrong way. Apart from that great phone.

For me, I can only really have Vodafone, due to the fact that I live in the sticks if I want reliable coverage it needs to be them. Prob also helps that there world headquaters are only about 8 miles away!
