Nokia 6300 plays back newly created 3gp files faster than normal rate

    Hey guys,
Another bizarre one for you. I recently recorded 2 new videos on my phone, and when I went to watch them again, the video played back at about 5x the normal rate but the sound was fine. I opened the videos I had made a while ago, and they played normally. Hang on, whats going on here?!

When I copied them over to my PC, again, the same thing. Only when I opened them in media player classic, they played at the normal rate but for some reason I never seem to get sound out of the nokia 6300 3gp files (my motorola created 3gp vids play fine in it)

Incidentally any new videos I now create have this problem, fast playback and normal sound.

    Anyone know what's going on?

    Thanks

Ok, well I decided to update the phone software (even though it doesn't make sense to, seeing as everything was working before) and its solved the problem of new videos being messed up.
But my aforementioned videos are still playing at 5x normal speed

    They were funny videos too!

It will have something to do with the compression of the 3gp files. I would try MP4 files instead. 3GP files are normally used in live video streaming and video calling via a 3G signal. Nokia 6300 is not a 3G enabled handset so guessing that is where the challenge lies, not 3G so won't play 3GP files in the normal way.
