    Re: Nokia N95

    Yes - I recently got an N95.

    First thing I did was reverted back to the generic European 1 Firmware instead of having the phone provider's nasty menu system installed. This also allowed me to upgrade the software and stuff to the latest 20.0.015 revision.

    This helps improve the phones battery life and also makes the phone feel more responsive.

    The only thing I feel that lets this phone down is the flash, or should I say lack of a good flash for darker photo taking. In darker areas the flash makes things appear blueish so pictures tend to look washed out and a bit smurfy to be frank. Normal light quality is good.

    Applications which I would recommend to people to download and use are as follows ;

    Fring - multi-IM client, works excellent with Wi-fi.
    emtube - youtube on the mobile.

    I would recommend checking the N95 8 Gb version out or even the N96 as this is improved and has built-in DVB-H mobile TV support.
