    Cheapest tariff N95-8GB

Hey guys - some advice would be appreciated.

I'm more or less decided on the N95-8GB - the main reason for this is I've read it has somewhere between 25 and 50% longer battery life.

I've found a few deals so far the best of which is £35 per month on a 12 month contract on vodaphone (really 18 months but phones4u will pay the remainder after the 12th month). Mins/texts aren't really an issue - I use the bare minimum really (150txts, 150mins or so each month).

Does anyone know of any better than this - excluding cashback schemes please, in light of recent events. Also, if the N95 original could be gotten on some great deal like £20 per month I could be persuaded :-)

    Cheers,
    Temp

You can get the silver N95 on T Mobile still, believe it is going for £30 per month but its an 18 month contract. You can also get the 8GB version on 3 now but I'm personally not keen on the network.

Best bet is definately go for Vodafone if Phones4U have offered that, make sure you get the 12 months deal you mentioned in writing though and signed by a manager. I have had loads of people instore (I work for Vodafone in retail) wanting to upgrade once they hit 12 months and you just can't do it until there is 60 days left on the contract. Thing is though Phones4U have also told the customer they can't upgrade yet either, bit of a catch 22 really.

At the min most Vodafone stores actually have the 8GB N95 reconditioned in, these are literally phones that have been brought back within the 14 days you are allowed to cancel so are literally virtually brand new. You will be able to get one of those on a cheaper line rental deal, possibly free even on a 12 month. They carry the full warranty for the duration of the contract so it could work out nicely for you.

Hey Ferral, cheers for the advice.

I'm a bit wary of phones4u generally so definitely going to have to get something in writing to say they'll buy me out in 12 months. Happily, it's a mate of mine who I'm dealing with there so I can be sure (for a change) that the salesman isn't out-and-out lying to me .

I'll give my local Vodaphone store a ring and see if they have any - sounds like a good deal :-)
