    Faulty n95 on O2

    my n95 8gb has began to have a really tin sounding earpiece. its only 4 months old. if it needs repairing am i liable to fix/pay for it or is 02 responsibility ?

    That is covered under the manufacturers warranty. Go into a store and they should send it away free of charge for repair for you

    It's nokia's responsibility to cover the repair or replacement under warranty within the first year, assuming the fault developed through normal use (as opposed to being dropped or similar).

    Contacting O2 is probably the best place to start as they may handle the process for you, or at least tell you where to send it.

    O2 may replace it, but they will want you to send the handset back first...

    It might be worth taking it direct to a Nokia service centre, as they can sometimes repair or replace on the spot.
