    Question Flashing K800i

    Just bought myself a k800i, i was locked to Vodafone i've now got it unlocked. But i would like to flash it with the manfactours its a CID53. If i do this can i use the same unlock code to unlock it?

    I assume you're talking about the firmware? I think you can flash the firmware using the davinci team site, but you'll have to pay. Because it's CID53 the likes of XS++ aren't compatible yet so I'm not sure if you can flash it for free. Putting the manufacturers firmware on there shouldn't re-lock it, so it shouldn't need unlocking again (sorry if I've misunderstood and thats not what you meant).

    I made the stupid mistake of updating my k800i via SEUS a few weeks back, and it updated it to CID53 so I'm waiting for the next XS++ so I can put my custom menus and back on.
