Well, N96 isn't out till October and it will most likely have a hefty price regardless of monthly spend. Will she really need the 16 Gb of memory also. 6210 is a nice phone but I personally feel that the general feel of he phone is a bit cheap and plasticky, doesn't feel as substantial as its predecessor the 6110 Navi.

W980 I don't like at all, find it quite clunky in its design and the way it flps open with the way they have done the hinge. Other than that its features are pretty good.

As for the N95 8Gb, its a really good phone that does everything. If she is wanting a feature rich handset that is reliable then this would be the one to go for out of that list.

The w980 is definitely the best music wise and also battery. Sony Ericssons are stated to have between 7-9hrs talk time generally while nokias 5.5hrs at best. Is it definitely the 6210 and not the 6220? 6220 has just been released few weeks back and has sat nav, 5mp etc.. much more feature full than the w980. You know what your getting with the n96 as its an n95 with the odd extra (hopefully doesnt get released with the horrendous amounts of faults the original n95 came with)

    Re: sisters upgrade time

actually with most nokia phones you will have to wait for firmware updates to ensure that they are totally stable. my n95 have been serving me quite well so far and i even have an 8gb version. tbh if you turn off the standby things then everything seem faster. ohh and for some strange reason the vodafone theme always slow things down. i changed it to the basic and its much faster now. so to sum up i think that the n95 is not bad after several updates.
