    Pay Monthly Negotiation...

    Howdy Hexus Mobile!

    Right, I'm getting a HTC Touch on Saturday, I'm buying it from a Friend, and it has a PAYG SIM in it, now given the awesomeness that is this phone - I'd like to use it for Data as well as Voice/Text.

    To that end, I was looking on the Orange website at their Pay Monthly SIM's, but I can't seem to find one that has the right balance of voice/text/data that would suit me, my question to you is this;

    How likely is it that I could go into an orange shop and get a plan that is my own mix of Data/Voice/Text, or will I have to stick to the ones that they offer?

    (The phone is PAYG Orange atm, so I've only looked at them for now - I'm not sure how much it would cost to get the phone unlocked!)

    Cheers!

    Re: Pay Monthly Negotiation...

    get whatever mins/texts you want from orange on a plan, then ring them up and say i want unlimited mobile internet browsing for free, say i was a long term customer on that PAYG sim u mentioned and would like this otherwise i am considering going to another network do not accept any price for data plans. I got mine free with my htc touch diamond. key words are 'long term customer' to the salesperson, ive got the extension of 2 very helpful people over at orange if you ever want, just PM me for more info. If u get through to a call centre in india [you know when u do even though they lie and say there in UK] say i want to talk to a UK representative, ive noticed the goody too shoes in india dont like to give you anything as they play by the rule books.....
