Wow, the poll is pretty even. I'm suffering from the same dilemma. The iPhone is just so pretty... and its calender function is so simple to use, gah i'm torn between the two.

    Re: iPhone or Blackberry Storm

The performance of the iPhone is not as good as the Blackberry Storm, however in my opinion the functionality of the iPhone smash the Blackberry Storm.

I love the VNC app oh and you must get Fishing !

    Re: iPhone or Blackberry Storm

One bad thing with the iPhone is the dropped calls - Very annoying and probably will be the only problem that will force me to go with another phone.

ummmm........... it depends what your after, a Windows Mobile phone is IMO would be the clear winner, proper MS office, proper Outlook, with Calendar, Contacts, Emails, Tasks, Categories ETC. and if you lose the device, you've lost nothing as WM phones are just an exact copy of your Outlook.(whether you have MS Exchange or not, through manual usb sync) it can even sync your storage card (all 16GB of mine ) You can even remote wipe it if it get lost.

BB only sync's email, nothing else, and it has to go through a BB server

There are some great WM phones out their, Sony, HTC, HP, Samsung. For Business i wouldn't buy anything else.
As for fun, I'd have to be convinced that it could do something better that my HTC

    Re: iPhone or Blackberry Storm

If Apple do with the iPhone in the UK what they are apparently doing with wallmart in the US and flogging a cheapo version for $100, no strings.

iPhone would be a serious contender the 'better' htc offerings are just to damned expensive.

I've breifly used a storm, and was seriously underwhelmed. The regular crackberries are better for writing messages.

Voted Storm due to a fundamental distaste for all things Apple

Although the BB needs a respin to make it thinner, add WiFi etc.

    Re: iPhone or Blackberry Storm

I'd have an iPhone if someone gave me one and I'd also have the Storm. I want a storm more though, because I see the iPhone as more of a gaming device than a telephone. I'd want an iPhone just to play fishing though
