For the first time in about 6 years, I have a phone that I actually like and hardly ever makes me wince at its stupidity. It's the Nokia E71. Very very nice indeed, especially considering how much I generally hate mobile phones. It somehow also managed to be very slim/small, and have an insanely long battery life. Awesome. Nokia have won me back for the time being.

Id take my HTC Touch HD, give it fully fledged/driver supported video acceleration, an aditional slide out keyboard (if not too deep), give its camera a xenon flash, and make the touch screen capactive..... chuck in a 32gb micro sd card (as and when they become available) and im done!

I have to say the IPhone....My phone needs are limited to calls, surfing the web, emails and entertainment. For me the IPhone 16GB does it all. I have replaced my N95 v1.0 which was glicky and slow witted, best decision of my life!
Burnt all my DVD's into MP4 and enjoy them each day on the train to work!![]()
I disagree Clockedtohell.
An imperfect phone can quite easily be "perfect for me". If the limitations of of that device do not matter, then it is indeed "perfect for me". If they do matter then the phone is not "perfect for me".
Regardless of this, if the phone has limitation, regardless of how they effect you as a user, it is by definition not "perfect".
You may find the iPhone perfect for you, Barrichello does not. That does not preclude the iPhone from actually being perfect.... or not![]()
Agreed Funkstar...that is my point, it's limitation in no way effect my usage or enjoyment, therefore it's perfect for me, although not for everyone, it's a point of view I've expressed as opposed to an ultimate opinion that the iPhone will inherit the earth etc and is the best thing since sliced bread yada yada.![]()
In that case you have just contradicted yourself in the last two posts in this thread![]()
You've lost me there![]()
