As above, i went and cracked the screen on my kaiser, its insured via student possesions with Endsleigh, but having sent it off im having doubts over the £50 excess im gunna be charged for them to fix/replace it.
if they replace my phone im happy to pay, it was 8 months old and hadnt been treated with any real care so it was in a bit of a mess overall. if they are just going to fix the screen and send it back to me i wonder if its worth attempting to fix it myself?
The only problem is i cant find any lcd screens for the Kaiser (HTC tytn II, MDA Vario 3...) desbite searching everywhere. Ebay have a few but there are several horror stories linked to them with the wrong screens being sent out, and with some of them costing £25+ im hesitant to risk it.
As well as the screen the on/off button doesnt turn the phone off, and it vibrates 4-5 times every 20-30 seconds.
Has anyone else been in this position, and have any advice?
cheers guys!![]()
