Just a bit of natter on the HTC Touch HD.
Sim, about the GPS software.. have you found anything worthwhile?
I've read there's been alot of issues getting Tomtom to run.
Navigon Mobile Navigator 7 is meant to work fine with the touch HD. You just have to apply a fix to get it fill the screen correctly. Personally I'd still rather use a seperate sat nav, GPS is a massive drain on battery life.

oooh! that Navigon software does look good.
I like how it shows you which lane to be in, better than the old TomToms i've used in the past.
Nah, haven't tried any GPS software yet. Just realised it doesn't come with any GPS software (other than google maps)... and I don't drive so I am not going to buy any, but I would be happy to get a trial version to give my opinion if you want... Not sure if they do proper trials though...
Funkstar, do you have your HD yet?
The new HTC Quartz looks much better than the HD
PS: some versions of tomtom 7 work perfectly. look
cant never catch up with these. when you just decide to get one, a new one is just round the corner
No, I'll probably skip a generation.
My T-Mobile contract isn't up for renewal for another 6 months, so there should be something new on the horizon by then. My Kaiser is doing me ok just now, although there is every chance I get bored and buy a SIM free handset one month. Been done before, no doubt it'll happen again eventually
