Google about to find that info mate.

You need to turn them into MP4 files on your PC first then drag and drop them onto the mass memory. You will need 2 or 3 programs to do this.

Hi - use Handbrake. It was a Mac only prog, but has been on PC for a wee while now too. Will take your DVD's and output straight to QVGA mp4 format. I've used it for my sons ipod nano and my PSP. Lets you set different bit rates etc and comes with pre-sets for many devices.

If you already have a video file (eg avi etc) then use something like videora - again free and used to convert to ipod etc format.

    Cheers

Re: Video converter for Nokia N96?

Be careful where this leads guys, I don't think you are allowed to convert DVDs to any other format, its an illegal practise despite you having a copy of the DVD.

    Excatly what Stringent said

I should know, I've had at least one thread deleted because of ripping DVDs.

You have to be carefull how you word things.
