search for the xda developer forums, loads on there
Winterface (14day free trial)
Slide to Unlock (free)
sktools
As mentioned XDA-Dev is the best place![]()
can anyone reccomend any?
I like PocketCM with the MM-HTC skin.
It's a threaded finger friendly text messaging and contacts app

Thanks for that one
Does anyone know about any games that work well on it? (that are good to play for a few mins)
I have the Touch HD although I'm not that interested in games tbh....
However, as others have mentioned already, XDA is the place to go to find info on your phone. You should check out the wiki section for the Touch HD (AKA Blackstone) where you'll find tons of info for the phone and in your case, a compatibility section of working/non-working games:
wiki.xda-developers.com - HTC Blackstone
This game is awesome:

does anyone find that S2U2 is sluggish (the movement of the bar) on the Touch HD?
slightly.... although I've since updated the ROM so haven't re-installed it yet... although, compared to the iphone unlock app anything seems to be sluggish tbh!!
by the way on XDA (esp the wiki) there are various tips/tweaks you might like to try.... e.g. reducing in-built GPS delay so that it's more usable with TomTom?
Does Google Maps come on the HTC Touch HD?
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Control your phone via your PC, includes typing txts etc via your keyboad!![]()

also checkout manilla 2d/3d as it's a really great interface for windows mobile.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
Or to control you PC via your phone check out GRemote.
