    Payg customer support inferior?

Anyone else had experience with PAYG customer support vs Pay Monthly support?

I can't believe how rude they are at Orange and how they can't be bothered in the slightest to help you if you're on PAYG yet if you have an issue with a Pay Monthly contract it's dealth with pretty quickly (in my experience).

Reason being is that over 2 months ago I bought a second Orange handset with a PAYG sim seperate to my business contract with Orange.

I used an O2 sim (due to it having an easy to remember number) so I had Orange trasnfer the number, all went smoothely.. I was told I would be recieving a £10 credit to my balance upon transfer of the number which never happaned.

So I called again a week later and was guaranteed the said £10 would be credited within 24 hours, yet again it wasn't.

So a few more days later I called a third time and was assured it would be no more than 24 hours, this time I got them to make sure of it, which they told me they would do so.

    But yeah.. never happened.

It took a further 13, 16 in total phone calls to get the matter resolved which I had to pay for.

I spoke with 2 managers and they both refused to take a complaint saying that the only way to make a complaint is to use the built in form on the Orange website.

I had already emailed it twice and never had a reply so I didn't hold any hope, plus it clearly states that there will be no reply to these emails if they regard an account speciffic matter.

I know it's only a £10 balance but the customer service is just abysmal.

    /end rant.

No that's just FT Orange in general, was with them for over 10 years and left them for 02 a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier.
