    kaiser upgrade

what do people rekon is the best upgrade from a kaiser at the mo.

am tempted by a touchHD, but i quite like having a hardware keyboard for when my fingers and the screen dont co-operate!

would be on a orange £30ppm contract, or around that figure depending on what they offer me.

also, aside from saving money, is there any advantage to a 24 month contract?

    cheers

    Re: kaiser upgrade

i had a Kaiser myself and lucky me, some idiot stole it in a filipinp house party i went to full with mature adults, or so i thought.

anyways from what i have been following, the HD touch looks like your best bet for a good upgrade. for me, im going to save my pennies and just buy one unlocked from the get go and INSURE it this time .

i am now stuck with a blooming N95 that needs to be charged twice a day to prevent it from dying on me and i dont even use it aggressively.

god i miss my kaiser. wanna swap?

Have you thought about a Sony Xperia X1? I got one last year with Vodafone and it's a great phone for what I need. If you like your Kaiser, you're gonna get on well with pretty much any Windows Mobile phone. It's really a case of do you want a physical keyboard or not.

If you can wait a while, they've just announced the next batch of HTC phones I believe which are looking very nice.

    Re: kaiser upgrade

There are several new phones comming out from HTC over the next 12 months, include a touch HD with a hardware keyboard built in. I broke my kaiser before Christmas and with the insurance money bought a new kaiser off xda developers for £100. Hoping it keeps me going until a few of these new HTC phones trickle out this year.

edit; iv searched for the thread but cant seem to find it. sorry
