Tried that, but the results bring up handsets that are not sold/used in the uk and as i don't know them all its a pain in the arse to have to search every handset via Ebay to see if its a UK handset.

As long as it is 3G (GSM 900/1800MHz) and either already on 3 or network unlocked it will work.

I thought it had to be UMTS 2100 to be 3g compatible from reading other sites?

I was intending to buy a phone from another network thats unlocked and capable with whatever standards needed, so i could use that on 3 network, i.e. some of the other network phones are a lot cheaper 2nd hand.

    Re: 3G Compatible Mobiles

I gave up in the end, it was much cheaper buying a phone on another network than buying a 2nd hand 3 phone, but after switching to VM i did get £10 of free credit
