LG arena, flaws?

My dads looking for a new touch screen phone for <£20 a month and we found the arena on 24months for £16 p/m along with 600mins unlimited text. Now is there anything that is wrong with the arena? And what alternatives are there?.
Main things looking for is:

A good camera(not the best but can be !)
Good media player(music/films)
Reliable
Good touchscreen
QWERTY keyboard for texting
Wi-fi
3g

Think thats about it, any help is appreciated.

Re: LG arena, flaws?

I have it and I quite like it. Its not iphone buts its still a very good phone. Has tons of features and decent battery life. Best thing about it is the screen, amazing quality

See review- http://www.trustedreviews.com/mobile...Arena-KM900/p1

However it is a little buggy, has crashed on me once and I needed to update the firmware after for some weird reason I could no longer send text messages.

For £16 p/m imo its easily the best phone you can get. BTW is internet included in that deal?

No it isnt afaik unless o2 offer free internet. Is the divx resolution still an issue? And is the media player good? Some comments said the music player was pants but they said that about the renoir and i havent got a problem with it. Also, has the camera got any scratches on it yet as its not tucked under so its prone to scratches some im told.

Any of the XDA phones are a realistic alternative TBH, or the android phones etc.

Your unlimited data will be £7.50 a month extra I think

It has still that silly issue with the divx videos which means you have to convert. Annoying but if you have a fast enough pc and the right software conversion does not take that long. I dont listen to much music so I've hardly used the music player, but when I have its been fine. I think there was an issue with the album art but that has now been resolved. There is a solution for it I think on the av forums or on the lg arena forum website.

My camera has been fine, no scratches on it so far and I don't use a protective case/cover.

He went for the arena in the end, cheap enough and he can use the minutes/texts instead of landline as he wont use that many!.
