Seems to suggest we'll see it today and not to download the ones of the other websites.

    I don't know.

I doubt it. When hasn't the orange phone got branding on it. I'd suggest that when it comes out on the uk site type in your serial number and see if it will yet you download it.

I just know i'm happy i went for the white unlocked one instead a the black one from tmobile.

Re: HTC HERO Arrived today :D

The HTC Heros on Orange are not "branded" and are actually classed as unlocked and can be used as "developer" phones.....

I don't see why we would not be able to use the update, certainly don't see any specific branding or locking to stop us. The only so-called "Branding" on the Hero is the addition of the Orange startup animation and a default Orange World homepage set in the browser....

Seem to be arounf £360ish Sim free now.

If they dropped to £300, I'd probably get one.

Orange support say you should download the firmware from

    http://www.business.orange.co.uk/mob...e-user-guides/

    when it's there, of course.

    FWIW.

Re: HTC HERO Arrived today :D

Seems weird that they chose norway as the first country.

Might sound a bit arogant but surely the uk market is more important that scandinavia?

I`d understand germany maybe but norway :S

Does seem a bit wierd but they're all scandinavian countries so i'd suggest there's something in the update.

Also am i the only one which has the HTC Support website bookmarked and is constantly checking it.
