I tried to last night, I used 3 different sets and cannot get the music to play through them, I can hear the music but just not through the earphones????

Works fine for me

Make sure you push them all the way in (it's a 3-segment socket due to the need for headsets; you should see a picture of some headphones on the screen, not a headset, when you've plugged in properly)

Mine worked but then one day it wouldn't pick up the headphones.

Turned it off and on, and it's since been fine.

A few apps can - appmanager, mybackup, etc

do NOT let MyBackup do your contacts though, it causes crashes after restoring them

Cannot get the earphones to work though
Did any of you get earphones with the phone?
I will take the phone to comet and get the right fitting, i was using my ipod earphones and a few other pair I use on my laptop.

Right I am going to try and install this new firmware lol dont even know what firmware means lol

I have just been reading on another android forum and there are hundreds of people with the same problem as me also (cos im a thicko), I didnt realise that the tracking ball should light up, mine never has, also i have never had a back light or a light on top of the phone when its charging

Im just phoning Orange now ( Very sad

Got home earlier and was very excited to see that orange users haven't been left out in the cold like I was beginning to think.

Have downloaded but can't install until I get home this evening.

Any other orange users please let me know if it goes well.
