PAYG with longer than 90-day cut-off?

Are there any networks on PAYG that won't disconnect you if you don't use a mobile for more than 3 months?

Not trying to be rude, but why do you want one if you're not going to use it at all for 3 months?

I would be interesed in this as well. The reason I want something with a longer cutoff is that you can get cheap alarms that dial a set number using a mobile, so hide in shed and it phones you if your being burgled.

Hmm, I've just put an Orange PAYG sim in my phone that's been in a box for atleast 2 years and it's still working.

Edit: Can confirm it's able to receive calls, can't tell if it lets me make them as there's no credit on the sim.

lol its for my firms disaster recovery plan. So when the phone lines are down there's a number to be forwarded onto.

given that & that no doubt it can be offset in the tax return how about a pay monthly SIM only deal e.g. O2 do 1 for under £10pm.
