Finally the "droid" has a real name
A shame it looks fugly
Okay, so I'm not really up on the Andriod thing just yet and I'm a little confused.
If I were to go out tomorrow and buy say, an HTC Tatoo (which hits the sweet spot of features and price for me), will I be able to upgrade beyond Android 1.6 easily or will I have to wait until HTC decide to release updates (or not at all)?
The HTC Tatoo uses the Sense UI, so you would have to wait for HTC to update the handset, unless, you changed the ROM yourself (which is possible) to the default one. That been said, considering the amount of handsets that have the Sense UI, I should imagine they would update is asap as there is a lot to be gained from the update.

HTC Bravo is the successor to HTC Hero.
Too bad I was waiting for the HTC Dragon/Passion. Looks like I will grab the HTC Hero now and then upgrade to the HTC Bravo in April 2010.
Bravo looks like a total win! If the specs are accurate this might well be the perfect phone! But April seems so far away....noooooooo!
The HTC Bravo looks great, exactly what I've been waiting for, and my contract expires in May 2010
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.
