At least the Bravo has flash. I've seen what the Hero can [or rather can't do] in low light. Nothing - exacty that.

If I wanted a camera phone I wouldn't have bought a smartphone.... I haven't seen good shots taken by ANY smartphones so I don't really care for the cameras. In regards to low-light shots, The Hero only performs if you whack the ISO up, precisely because it doesn't have a flash, but it performs well on so many other levels, that's what my Fuji Z100fd is for....

Oh no, I defintely agree. Taking a photo isn't a phones primary function and nor should it. That is why I have my trusty DSC-W70

Like the look of both the Bravo & Legend. Like you it'll be a Hero for now (If I can't struggle on with my Magic running Hero roms.) Then upgrade to the Bravo in 2010 (if Vodafone stock it).
