Hi starbuck i tried the htc coverter it worked a treat just as you'de predicted all the other converters are lobbed into the desktop bin as the only settings that worked were i phone mp4 resulting in 3.5 inch no thks not with a 4.3inch mothaf....&all others were out of sync&framerate.The first time i tried decoder it performed flawlessly&so simple to use&saved all those countless wasted hours & stacks of feutile conversions this is a priceless piece of kit for htc hd2 owners & i love the fact it compresses files to less than half their original size without noticable quality loss,thanks again Starbuck u & your team of video codec proffessors are a credit to the likes of us screen addicts

I'd love to take the credit for the HD convertor but it is not mine, I came across it on XDA and found it to be a great little program, so thought I'd share it.

Much did it cost you mate? Im still waiting for a good deal. My vodafone contract ends on the 2nd but they don't do it anymore.

T-Mobile where doing a good 12 month deal if your a heavy user and can call yourself a business.

(Last months bill £150 this month now down to £60)

Lol..... deffo not for me then Plus T-Mobiole seem to have no 3G cover in Northern Ireland according to their own chart! So no good to me. Will have to be O2 or Vodafone.

Mines going back today, not happy with it really. Dont get me wrong the phone is great! Its the software and not having the ability to update the software until o2 actually pull their fingers out of their arses to release the update.

Yeah i could gold card it - but then i loose warranty with o2.

Lovely phone - too sensitive, and lacks any kind of support really.

I gave the phone to my brother to use/borrow, and he gave it back to me this morning with this on it. working smooth so far. but i'm guessing it invalidates the warranty. can you flash a official rom back over it?

I have a new HTC locked to O2 as well, to be honest the slightly updated ROM version doesn't make a lot of difference and there are the separate updates you can download and install separately from the HTC site.

yeah been through them all, and tbh no matter how many rom fixes get released!!! until WM7 which has a date of late 2010 its going to be an average phone until the software can truely show how good of a phone it is!

You could always put O2's firmware back on if you needed to send it back for any reason.

It's a pain to text with though. not used to a touch screen so it takes me ages to text people!! Anyone find any new themes for it etc including animated ones?

I got the same usage amounts as you, apart from 1000 texts, instead of unlimited on o2.

My contract is only 18months though
