O2 Contract Upgrade Cancellation

Hi All,

I decided to give o2 a call to get my PAC code last night to move to tmobile for a android based handset.

What then proceeded was the sales lady in retentions talking me into a Palm Pre, which while sounding a great idea at the time - now I look at reviews it does not appear to be a very inspiring phone.

The lack of expandable memory is a deal breaker for me and really, I should have researched this before accepting the offer but I guess I sort of assumed any modern day phone with a modern OS would have expandable memory....(bar an iphone of course)

So my question is, the phone has not even arrived yet, I was told there is a 14 day "cool off"

Does this mean I can take the phone back to an O2 store or give the phone back, I can then ask for my PAC and have the lot cancelled?

even without the cooling off period you have rights under the Distance Selling Regulations
