Not that many. About 15. I have got music on there but I put it into the MP3 folder, which I assumed was on the SD card...and it's only three albums anyway.

Plus top-up - minimum is £10 - so £409.99 for me - ALTHOUGH the important thing is they have them in stock near me and are unbranded.

although i already have one now, so this is info for someone else

Re: The Official HTC Desire Thread

If anyone from virgin mobile management is reading this, your front line 'idiots' on the phone seriously need training in customer services and product specifications.

All I did was rang to see when the desire was going to be in stock and I was told they had the HD2 in which is also an android phone (apparently). When I told the guy it actually runs Windows Mobile 6.5 he got a little shirty and was like " oh no its an android, I should know..."

He did say his name at the beginning, but in all honesty I could hardly make out what it was due to his foriegn accent.

Just hurry the HELL up VM and get it back into BLOODY STOCK !!!!!

    LOLz @ 'I should know'

Last time I called tech support at Virgin as my inet went down I said can you transfer me to your office in Wales so I can speak to the tech team - answer was we don't have a team in Wales - 10 mins later the agent revealed they were going to transfer me to the team in Swansea...They told me I was wrong then too...

on thread related matters....the battery life still sucks, but I finally got round to setting up all the home screens etc...

Ive found and easy way to turn off wifi with a screen widget, so thats no problem, but even with background data turned off the clever bugger stops using wifi and up pops the o2 network data link and it keeps updating that way - its annoying lol

What you all want is one of These when/if they appear on the market.

I am using Timeriffic to manage some of these features. So for example. Every night at 1:00am the phone turns itself to silent, 06:30am is switches back to normal mode, 08:30am it switches off wifi when I leave the house. And then it turns wifi back on at 16:30pm when I leave work. Unfortunately it can't seem to control mobile internet so for now, I am turning that on/off manually. There is an add-in but I would prefer one app to do that.

Might want to double check your settings mate, there is a whole load of settings buried within the control panel.

I'm a student so don't have such a settled schedule. Handy app for those who do though.

Not bad I think I'll just wait tho, Im going to have to buy a case and a reasonably sized memory card anyway might aswell do it all in one go and save on delivery. I just hope Expansys don't delay it any further lol.
