Its a bit early to say as I have only had it just over 24 hours however right now my phone is at 84% which is quite a lot higher than it would usually be by half 3 in the afternoon.

Im was on a unbranded phone got an update today to 1.24.161.3 and now it has the Voda spash screen and all the 360 crap just checked the Voda forums and it seems people are not happy. It also updated my boot loader to 0.80 so if you on Vodafone and dont want the rubbish dont update luckily I am not bothered but it seems some people are.

Re: The Official HTC Desire Thread

Updated to 2.2 yesterday on an unbranded Orange Desire with no problems. Seems quicker and the 720p recording is nice, although I've got nothing to compare it to.

But can any one tell me where the 'Privacy' option has gone from the settings?

Re: The Official HTC Desire Thread

WARNING: 2.2 has absolutely killed my battery life.

Mainly, I have to admit, coz I just sit there like a loon playing with the torch function for hours on end.

Off... on... brighter... brighter... LIGHT SABRE!... off... on... brighter...

Better than any game I've bought for it.

I saw this update, but was quite suspicious about the size (19mb iirc) so I googled and lo and behold I learned that they are basically adding on bloat to 2.1. I'm assuming this means the bloat will be on 2.2 and that 2.2 is a while away (why not just go straight to 2.2 + bloat instead if 2.2 is around the corner?)... hence I will be debranding this weekend

After reading this, I doubt il ever go Skodaphone. Messing with your handset is just not on, if it was a PC nobody would tolerate plusnet doing this. That kind of carry on went out with AOL dial up CD's.

Linky please? If it worked for you, that's one satisfied customer and that's all I need.

I've found prices from £10 to £25 and other places that say they can't even do it despite taking your money.
