    Rugged phones

The lcd on my Samsung e2120 (£20 new, owned for 2) cracked last week, this follows my SE W850i (£50 ebay, owned for 1.5yrs) which had intermittent white screen problems and eventually had the number buttons stop working all together before I threw it away. Both of these follow my Creative Zen Vision: M 30gb (£160 new, owned for 1yr) which I left round a friend's place then got it back a week later with a dead lcd and my Casio EX-Z750 camera (£180 new, owned for 1.5yrs) which was fine one minute then the next minute had a cracked lcd.

As you can see things with screens don't get along with me, however I like my tech. What I want now is a phone that works well for calls/texting, looks nice and can withstand being thrown on the floor or dunking in a drink - all for no more than £50 handset only or £15/m monthly contract. I did a bit of research recently and currently looking at the Samsung 2100b and M110.

All suggestions (besides take better care of your stuff ) are appreciated!

Look on eBay for a Nokia 6250.

Old, but bricks - often used by builders. I've used one for many years.
