I think I already know the answer to this but, I thought I'd get a bit of feedback just in case. I'm leaning towards the Samsung because it has Android and a 3.2mp camera.
Thanks in advance.

It really depends on what you want to use the handset for.
My missus got the 5230 this weekend to replace the knackered and falling apart N95 that used to be mine and she loves it. The menu system is okay, with responsiveness quite good when using the touch-screen to text as well. She will take the odd photo, but uses a real camera to take pictures normally.
The only downside I can see to it is that it weighs nothing and feels plasticky but that is just nit-picking overall.

I got the Samsung i5700 in the end. When I first got it I thought I'd made a big mistake as it was a bit of a pain to transfer my contacts to it. Had to convert my Nokia contacts to Outlook then put them into gmail contacts and get them onto the phone that way.
Had the phone almost 2 weeks now, Battery seems to last about 2 to 4 days between charges (depending on use). It does not work with Samsung Kies software so no way to directly access the phone via USB except for the ability to access the micro SD card.
Touch screen seems good and responsive. Cannot use a stylus with it, Which would make it easier for typing on the qwerty screen keyboard. They seem to have left the Samsung T9 keyboard off this model with Android 2.1 ,Which is a shame as I think it would have been better than the Android Qwerty one.
not a bad phone in all, Build quality is good. Not sure how long the little flap for the USB plug will last but, it is only cosmetic and in my view pointless.
Thanks for all the replies, Much appreciated.
Mine has got 'Android 2.1 update 1' and when you choose input method the only option is Android keyboard, Which is a shame as I would prefer the T9 option.
I could be wrong but, As I understood it. The T9 on the Samsung was a Samsung feature or so it said in the review I read about the Spica.
