    HTC Legend Remove Vodafone Animation

As detailed in a thread last week I was to buy a new phone, in the end I went for a HTC Legend off ebay. Now even the phone was unlocked and is working with my O2 sim just fine it still has a Vodafone welcome animation when I turn it on. While I know that it does nothing is there anyway to remove this? Will restoring the factory settings do it?
Just want to know before I start loading everything on.

It'll probably need a firmware flash or different rom of some sort to get rid of that.

Hi. Ihave exactly the same problem. Did you have any luck? Need to remove the annoying vodafone intro flash page and all their built in bits and bobs.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks. Mark.
